How much will it cost?
Websites from Emma Designs are currently being offered at a special introductory rate of £125 per page or 5 pages for £500. Any websites with unlimited pages will be charged at £800. These prices will only be available for a short period of time. Please contact us for more information.
We would require a 50% deposit of the total payment upfront. This is due to the fact that in the past we have had clients who have changed their minds at the last minute, leaving the web designer with an un-required website and many lost working hours. We are based in the UK and we are happy to do business with any clients anywhere in the world although all funds must be sent and received in sterling either by cheque or paid directly into our business account.
We are happy to make updates to currently running websites. Any updates to websites produced by Emma Designs and charged at a starting fee of £30 depending on what is required. We will try and give our clients basic tips on how to update their own web site such as adding a new paragraphs or images.

How will it work?
If you are interested in doing business with us, you can either email us with your requirements or contact us via telephone. All details can be found on our contacts page.
We would ask you to discuss what the aim of your website is (i.e. your business objectives) and what type of audience you are hoping to attract. This will help us work out what kind of website we need to design for you.
Once this has been discussed we will ask you what kind of website you have in mind. A lot of clients already know what they want, so we always take on the client's ideas before our own. However we will give advice on what may or may not be a good idea in terms of a professional looking website.
If you do not have any clue as to what you want we will be able to come up with something from the information you have given us. The designer may also share some of their own ideas with you there and then.
What can I expect while my website is being made?
While we are working on your website we may ask you a few questions from time to time about the information you want on your website, just to make sure everything is going satisfactory. We have found that by doing this it not only makes the client feel more involved but we have also found that clients may change their mind about certain pieces of information that they first wanted on the website. We will also keep you regularly informed and updated on the development of the website. We can send regular screen shots on the development of your site to make sure you are happy with how it is being formed.
Please keep in mind that we may have other clients waiting so it is important that deadlines are met. We will ask you what date you would like to have your website up and running by, but please remember that we need a realistic time schedule.

Our websites are very clean, crisp and professional looking. We do not yet use flash or other animations. Websites that need extra advanced scripts or PHP will cost extra.

Emma Designs do not currently offer hosting.
